Organizing for Creatives

Organizing For Creatives is a series of workshops was originally designed for the residents and friends of Hafnar.haus, a community of 300 creative workers in downtown Reykjavík.

Each workshop includes a presentation of a selected theoretical framework for workplace organizing (adapted for the individual needs of the Creative*), activities that help to gain a deeper understanding of the subject of the workshop, individual work, opportunities for sharing knowledge and experiences with others, and finding suitable solutions for improving the participants' working conditions.

*The Creative here is a freelancer, an artist, a craftsperson, an academic, a designer, a programmer, a writer, a student, a person in the coming-back-to-work program, a person interested in organizing their individual work, looking for an opportunity to exchange ideas and create healthier work relations with others.
